Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 2026

1. Who we are

EA Decision Sciences is a decision-analysis consultancy based in The Hague, The Netherlands. For the purposes of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), EA Decision Sciences is the data controller for personal data collected through this website. You can contact us via the contact form on this site.

2. What data we collect

The only personal data we actively collect is what you submit through the contact form: your name, company or family office, email address, and the message you write. We do not use analytics, tracking cookies, or advertising technology on this site.

When you visit the site, our hosting provider processes technical data (such as your IP address) in server logs as necessary to deliver the site securely. Fonts are served from our own domain; no visitor data is sent to third-party font or analytics services.

3. Why we process it and on what legal basis

We process contact form submissions to respond to your inquiry and, where relevant, to discuss a potential engagement. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in responding to business inquiries you initiate (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) and, where the contact leads toward an engagement, steps taken at your request prior to entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).

4. Who processes the data on our behalf

This website is hosted by Netlify, Inc. (USA), which also processes contact form submissions on our behalf as a data processor. Transfers of personal data to the United States are safeguarded under the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework and/or Standard Contractual Clauses as described in Netlify's data processing terms. We do not sell or share your data with any other party.

5. How long we keep it

Contact form submissions are retained for as long as needed to handle your inquiry, and no longer than 24 months after our last contact, unless the inquiry leads to an engagement (in which case retention follows the engagement terms and applicable legal obligations, such as Dutch fiscal record-keeping requirements).

6. Confidentiality

We treat the content of every inquiry as confidential and use it only to respond to you.

7. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, or erase your personal data, to restrict or object to its processing, and to data portability. You can exercise these rights by contacting us through the contact form. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch data protection authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens (autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl).

8. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date above reflects the current version.
